Terms of Service

1. About LUCY

LUCY is a subscription-based AI personal assistant that lives inside Telegram. There is no separate app to download. Once set up, your assistant communicates with you directly through your own private Telegram bot, remembers your story across conversations, and checks in proactively based on your preferences.

LUCY is operated by PT Perorangan, Indonesia. By subscribing, you enter into a service agreement with us under these terms.

2. Eligibility

To use LUCY, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Reside in an eligible country. LUCY currently serves Asia-Pacific and selected regions. Residents of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and EU member states are not eligible at this time.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

By completing the sign-up process, you confirm that you meet all of the above conditions.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

LUCY is available on two subscription plans:

• Standard — $20/month or $200/year
• Plus — $30/month or $300/year

Annual plans are billed as a single upfront payment. Monthly plans renew automatically each month. All billing is handled by Paddle, our authorised payment processor. Paddle acts as the merchant of record and handles all tax obligations on our behalf.

We may update our pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate partial periods except where required by applicable law.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 100% refund within 3 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. If LUCY isn't right for you, write to us at hello@meetlucy.id within 3 days and we'll refund your payment in full.

After the 3-day window, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LUCY to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Harass, threaten, or harm any person.
• Generate or distribute illegal, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Attempt to circumvent safety features or content guidelines.
• Resell, sublicense, or share your account with others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, at our reasonable discretion, that you have violated these terms. Where possible, we will warn you first.

6. LUCY is an AI

Your assistant is powered by artificial intelligence. This means:

• Responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent.
• LUCY is not a licensed professional. Nothing she says constitutes medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Always seek qualified professional guidance for important decisions.
• LUCY does not have real-time access to the internet unless explicitly stated for a specific feature.

We work continuously to improve accuracy and reliability, but we cannot guarantee that every response will be correct or suitable for your situation.

7. Crisis and Emergency Situations

LUCY is not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

If your assistant detects that you may be in distress, she may gently suggest professional support resources. This is not a substitute for qualified crisis intervention.

8. Your Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains in full what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The short version: we use your data to power your assistant, we never sell it, and you can request deletion at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

The LUCY name, design, software, and all related materials are owned by PT Perorangan. You may not use them without our written permission.

Content you share with your assistant remains yours. By sharing it, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LUCY and PT Perorangan are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you in any calendar month shall not exceed the amount you paid us in that month.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email and through your assistant at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
